These families have had extremely tough obstacles to overcome while trying to maintain somewhat of a normal life. They both have done this with positive attitudes and smiles on their faces. We would like to share with you why we chose these selfless human beings as our “Families of the Year”.

Edgar, Victoria, Joshua and John Paul Dadural.

The Dadural’s have been patients at our office since John Paul’s birth. John Paul was born with Down’s Syndrome and many cardiac problems. He has been in and out of the hospital several times with life threatening illnesses. Through it all this family has remained centered, positive and totally dedicated to the health of this child, while not compromising the care of their other child, Joshua. Joshua is an incredible young man that shows so much unconditional love for his brother that it is almost beyond our realm of comprehension on this earthly plane. Edgar and Victoria are both registered nurses at a local hospital. They alternate shifts so that one of them can be home with John Paul and Joshua at all times. John Paul is a fighter in every sense of the word. He has overcome many critical problems and to date is doing better than ever!

We honor you, Edgar, Victoria, Joshua and John Paul for being able to say that you touched our lives in such a positive way. We hope that 2007 brings you good health and peace in your lives.

Michael, Elizabeth and Elijah Urena

Elijah was born with Down’s Syndrome and cardiac and gastrointestinal problems.  He is a beautiful boy with beautiful parents.  These young parents have shown responsibility, extreme devotion and unconditional love for this child.  They have grown up quickly.  They have endured more than most people have to endure in a lifetime.  They always have a smile on their face and a positive attitude.  They deal with the problems as they occur and see the progress Elijah is making with happiness and joy.  They are proud parents to this young child and their parents should be so proud of them.  We certainly are!  Elijah is doing very well and we look for him to continue to improve and he probably will be walking soon.  He is a very strong and determined child with strong and determined parents.

We honor you, Michael, Elizabeth and Elijah and are proud to be a part of your lives.  You have touched all of us in such a deep and extremely positive way.
